                                  Membership
The only criterion for membership in Women's Action Network is payment of appropriate dues.  WAN follows the calendar year.  Dues are $75 annually -- new members joining January-June $75, new membeers joining July-November $40.  Renewing memberhips dues ($75) are due by the January meeting (third Monday in January.)

Women’s Action Network . . .
. . . was created to respond to the needs of  women in the  Greenville area.  We are a local organization without  national or state affiliation, so all monies we raise and all projects we support  are local.

We support and encourage area women to be full and equal participants in the economy, as well as in the professional and political world.
In addition to supporting and financing requests that  are brought to our attention, our annual projects include:

  • Selecting a woman of the year from nominations by the community at large and honoring her in a night of celebration toasting and roasting  with friends and family.
  • Awarding two college scholarships to graduating high-school seniors in the area.
  • Awarding a scholarship to an adult woman seeking to improve personally or professionally.
  • Financially supporting the  battle against  domestic violence.
